STRIKER Ryan Blott almost felt the wrath of boss Brian France on the way to scoring Scarborough Athletic's first-ever hat-trick.
Blott scored three in Boro's crushing 8-0 home success against a shell-shocked Borrowash Victoria side, with his second from the penalty spot. This infuriated France, who always puts his faith in Scott Phillips to take the spot kicks.France said: “If he'd missed that then I'd have throttled him. Scott always takes the penalties, he handles pressure well and you can rely on him to put them away.“Ryan got up after being fouled and placed the ball down, which I wasn't best-pleased about. He scored though, so you can't complain too much.“It was a much better performance from Ryan throughout. In fact I think the first half was the best he has played for the club.“He was frustrated as he hadn't scored by the break. I told him to keep going and he scored three in the second half. “It was a great team performance. I said to the lads at half-time that they can't sit back on the three goals and they did'nt."

We are fortunate to have a manager like Brian France, he is well respected in the game and the trophies will surely come to the club as we progress through the leagues on our way to The Conference, or Blue Square if you prefer that name.
UP THE BORO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
