THE FIRST GAME IS THE USUAL PRE SEASON OPENER AGAINST LOCAL SIDE EASTFIELD, LAST SEASON WE WERE 4-0 WINNERS AND THE PREVIOUS SEASON SAW THE BORO DEMOLISH EASTFIELD BY 9 GOALS TO NIL.
IT WILL BE A GOOD OPENER AND NO DOUBT THERE WILL BE LOCAL PLAYERS ON THE DAY TRYING TO CATCH THE APPROVING EYE OF BORO' BOSS RUDY FUNK.
THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED AT YORKSHIRE COAST COLLEGE WITH A 3.00pm KICK OFF.
BORO'S SECOND GAME WILL BE AWAY TO ECCLESHILL UNITED SEVEN DAYS LATER AND THEN ON TUESDAY EVENING THE 17th OF JULY WE WILL TRAVEL TO KIRKLINGTON ROAD STADIUM THE HOME OF RUDY'S OLD TEAM RAINWORTH MINERS WELFARE FOR WHAT PROMISES TO BE A TERRIFIC NIGHT.
THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY WILL SEE US TAKE THE SHORT TRIP OVER THE NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS TO WHITBY WHERE WE WILL TAKE ON WHITBY TOWN AT THEIR TURNBULL GROUND.
FIVE DAYS LATER WE WILL BE HEADING SOUTH TO EASTWOOD TOWN, TOWN HAVE WON THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SENIOR CUP FOR THE PAST 3 SEASONS AND THIS COULD BE AN ATTRACTIVE GAME, THEN SATURDAY 28th THE GAME WE WILL ALL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO - THE VISIT TO QUEENSGATE OF NOTTS COUNTY FC, THIS WILL PROVE A REAL TEST FOR THE BORO AND THERE SHOULD BE A SIZEABLE CROWD, AND HOPEFULLY A GOOD FEW COUNTY FANS VISITING THE SEASIDE.
FINALLY WE WILL JOURNEY SOUTHWARDS TO GOOLE TOWNS VICTORIA PLEASURE GROUNDS, THE GROUND WHICH I SAW BORO IN AN AWAY GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME BACK IN 1964.
UP THE BORO...........................................
