MAJOR HONOUR FOR SCARBOROUGH LADIES FC.

Scarborough Ladies FC, who have a sponsorship deal with Scarborough Athletic FC have been honoured with the award of 'Top community sports club' in the Scarborough & District sports awards.
1st team manager Gareth Davies proudly collected the award on behalf of the club.
The award was given to the club for it's outstanding community work in the town over the past 12 months.
St Catherines hospice benefited to the tune of £500, which was raised by the club after it had organised an open day during the summer.

The club presently boast 5 competetive teams and are soon to introduce an under 10's team also.
Last year the club received the FA Charter Standard Award for their continuing work in the community.
Along with Scarborough Athletic the club are growing in stature and the town (not just the supporters) should be proud of the achievments of both clubs and give them the support and encouragment that they both thoroughly deserve, both clubs have excellent futures in prospect, Scarborough Athletic kept football alive in the town after the demise of the old club, Athletic are the town's premier club and with the connection between the two clubs, the Ladies teams are sure to be as successful in their own right.
