Boro did not have things all their own way throughout the first half and Dave Bramley in the Boro goal had a few saves to make to keep his team in it, however just before half time, penalty supremo Scotty Phillips got the chance to put Boro ahead from the spot after Dave Thompson was fouled in the Brighouse area, he made no mistake and the Boro team left the field 1-0 to the good at the half time whistle.
The second half kicked off in unbelievable fashion as Boro went from 1-0 to 4-0 in a matter of about 5 minutes.
Within one minute of the re-start Craig Hogg had put Boro 2 goals up and in the next minute Craig was tripped in the area, so up stepped Scott Phillips again to calmly slot the ball home from the penalty spot to give the Boro a 3 goal advantage.
Minutes later goal number four came from Ryan Blott, Brighouse later scored with a consolation penalty and that was to be the final score Brighouse 1 "Boro" 4.
The visit of Emley to Queensgate on Saturday should be electric, after the controversial game last season they are certain to receive a real "Queensgate" welcome.
Should be another 3 points for an ever improving "Boro" side.
